Privacy Policy for The Aviation Place (and the Airport OGRE App)
Every website has to have a privacy policy nowadays but if you’re anything like me you’re probably all “what is this? I can’t be bothered to read this!” So, here’s what it says in a nutshell:
It says a whole load of legal stuff and stuff related to how websites and Apps collect personal information, what they do with it, what your rights are.
At The Aviation Place we are not hoarding personal details and rifling through them from time to time when we feel like it… In fact, we rarely ever look at any of it because frankly we don’t know how to half the time, and definitely would not want to because we aren’t that sort of a person.
Most of it is backend stuff or because that’s how internet works – like when you sign up, you put your email address in, or when you buy something, you put your payment details in… This is all done through the website building website (in this case, WordPress), and the payment system etc.
If this “I don’t actually know how stuff works so don’t worry!” statement doesn’t put you at ease, then here is the full privacy policy filled with all the legal, regulatory information which we stick to like clear ice to a cold soaked wing…
